PARIS SYNDROME (2016)

Two Australians spend a day in Paris together, discussing life, politics and the universe. You couldn’t do that in Australia – people would just think you’re a wanker.

Shot on Canon 5D guerilla-style in Paris during an eight month artist residency at the Cité des Art Internationale, PARIS SYNDROME is the final chapter in Erdstein and Foulcher’s Awful Australians Trilogy, following the success of the critically acclaimed PICKING UP AT AUSCHWITZ and their TROPFEST (2014) finalist short A BIT RICH. Based on actual events that happened to Erdstein and Foulcher, and in some cases, on them.
