Steve Swanson wakes in hospital to discover he has just had a brain tumour removed: his twin brother Rupert.

Facing Rupert was Gregory Erdstein’s Masters graduate film from the Victorian College of the Arts School of Film and Television. The film was nominated for Best Masters Film and appeared in a lucky 13 festivals around the world including the New York Horror Film Festival, the 69th World Sci-Fi Convention, the London Sci-Fi Film Festival, and the Boston Underground Film Festival. The film won Best Short at the 2011 Arizona Underground Film Festival and the 2010 Sydney Sci-Fi and Fantasy Film Festival, and was nominated for Best director and Actor at the 2011 Melbourne Underground Film Festival.
